Politics can be done at many political venues but not during a musical performance.

Example: You go to a circus with your family and the last part of the show dealt with politics/political views.

Example: You go to the beach and the lifeguard gets on the blow horn and says
"there are atrocities in such and such country and you people aren't doing anything about it" "shame on you"

So again,  save the political B.S. for the B.S. politicians.

Entertainment is just that...entertainment!

It just make sense.

Can someone back me up on this?!

by the way, Dino's comment raises a question

how long was the political rants, in comparison to the music time in the concert in question?

Hello A8inea,
Your killing me on the "a rare poetic and lyrical muscial genius". Heck, a some  of his songs are just "covers".
The only thing I will give him is that he has the "classic Greek laiko voice".
Still, he doesn't hold a candle to the musical icon Stelios Kazantzidis

Enough, I can't handle it no more!

ps. Those pics that you have don't help either

See ya!

Hi

I don't think there's a point Mr Kostavvv to argue about an artist. What makes a person an artist its hes controversy opinion in politics... But hes opinion which is something personal he believes in does not reflect the opinion of all Greece. But nevertheless try to find that greek inside you that you have lost as you started getting consumed by the American culture. America is a multinational country and almost all Americans have roots from somewhere else and they cherish and support their culture and artists. Try to relax and loosen up.... Too much stress ain't good for cholesterol And by the way, cover songs but surely has a taste in the songs he's choosing!

Proud to be Greek/Cypriot

Certainly the USA is a multi-national country. Sadly, becouse of this, it loses it's unity.
It's cool to see Greece be "as one" during it's soccer games,etc...Very prideful. Although, as we speak, Greece, France, England and many more countries are becoming more "diverse".  They in turn will loose their national original identity.

As I stated before, I pay for entertainment and if it's not entertaining and will surely not be back for more.

I am not stressed, trust me. I am having a load of fun conversing with everyone on this topic.
Have a great day

Hi there. In America, you can absolutely be free to be anything you want to be...

When people say " I want to go to America", it's for the dream to make a good life, to be free, to work hard and prosper,etc...
As my family were farmers in Greece, times were tough, they came to the States in which they worked hard and thus we thankfully have a full and loving life...

we wont even go into the days of McCarthyism or even the hunta days Which America brought about because.........they were "freedom fighting"

take it from me my friend......america is a saint only in the eyes of americans.....thus the often expressed question, i hear far too often......."why do they hate us"

and of cource no greeks went to australia, Africa, and to all the four corners of the world about the same time

talk about biased blinkers......

as for "the dream to make a good life".....sort of what is happening to greece right now, with the huge invasion of immigrants, in numbers way out of proportions of what america EVER experienced

I just looooove fishing!!! Its all in the bait
